Marie Jo’s Story

Marie Jo began her career as a Pastry Chef in Paris.  When her sister opened Le Petit Paris Bistrot, she knew she had to have the very best and that was Marie Jo as her Pastry Chef!  Along with her daughter Carla, Marie Jo made the journey to Breckenridge to work along side her sister.

Marie Jo spends each afternoon creating intoxicating desserts that are the perfect labor of love to finish out your meal.  From profiteroles to the molten chocolate cake (fondat au chocolat) Mary Jo’s creations are sent from heaven. It would be a crime to leave your Le Petit Paris Bistrot evening without at least one of Marie Jo’s scrumptious desserts.

From Our Guests...

  • I've been meaning to review this place from when I had a romantic dinner last...June? It was wonderful. The service reminded me of France, very attentive/intimate. It's a cozy and warm place, not at all modern or stuffy like many high-end restaurants.

This may have been an off-shoot because my fiancé didn't care much for his entree (he ordered stew, so that's on him), but my lamb was fantastic. In fact, it was the best meal I've ever had. I look back at it fondly.

  • I had my first experience at Le Petit Paris over the holiday in December. It was just a welcoming and inviting place! The holiday decor was festive and all service was amazing. The wine suggestions and tastings were greatly appreciated! I had the pork and my boyfriend had the special of the night, rabbit. We were both very impressed and content with portion size. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a good get-a-way and wonderful evening out!

    -A time well spent!
  • Just the best! No more needs to be said. Arielle and Mary Jo are the most gracious hostesses. We return to dine with them on each and every trip to Breck.
