Josh's Story

Josh has been working in restaurants since high school. Before he knew it, his sights were set on Culinary School at the New England Culinary School, graduating with an Associates Degree.  After working in Vermont for about a year, Josh’s journey brought him to Breckenridge.  He worked in a few local restaurants as a Sous Chef and then he joined the team at Le Petit Paris Bistrot as the head chef.

Arielle sent him to Paris to really immerse himself in the French atmosphere.  Josh specializes in French style cooking, but with his own interpretation and broader pantry of ingredient. The end product is a modern menu  and artful plating that marries the senses. He is assisted in the kitchen by Sous Chef Alex Mills.

Marie Jo’s Story

Marie Jo began her career as a Pastry Chef in Paris.  When her sister opened Le Petit Paris Bistrot, she knew she had to have the very best and that was Marie Jo as her Pastry Chef!  Along with her daughter Carla, Marie Jo made the journey to Breckenridge to work along side her sister.

Marie Jo spends each afternoon creating intoxicating desserts that are the perfect labor of love to finish out your meal.  From profiteroles to the molten chocolate cake (fondat au chocolat) Mary Jo’s creations are sent from heaven. It would be a crime to leave your Le Petit Paris Bistrot evening without at least one of Marie Jo’s scrumptious desserts.

From Our Guests...

  • “It really is a little bit of Paris in Breckenridge!”
Wonderful staff, Marie Jo and Arielle are the most friendly gracious hostesses. Many restaurants forget that they are in the hospitality business, not here! The entire staff is at your elbow,
making sure you have a wonderful dining experience!
And the Cuisine!?! C'est Magnificent! Delightful tastes, mixtures, colors, a beautful continental experience. We were transported into the culinary world of Paris and enjoyed every moment!

  • I would like to thank Arielle and Marie Jo for the hospitality and great meal we enjoyed on our last evening in Breckenridge. We took our 10 year old daughter with us and they treated her like she was their own, even taking her on a tour of the kitchen. Our meals were very good, duck for my husband and salmon for my daughter and myself. Of course, we could not pass on the molten chocolate cake! Yummy! Best of all was the friendly, excellent, service. Great meal and we felt like one of the family. I will not miss this restaurant on our visit next year.

  • I've been meaning to review this place from when I had a romantic dinner last...June? It was wonderful. The service reminded me of France, very attentive/intimate. It's a cozy and warm place, not at all modern or stuffy like many high-end restaurants.

This may have been an off-shoot because my fiancé didn't care much for his entree (he ordered stew, so that's on him), but my lamb was fantastic. In fact, it was the best meal I've ever had. I look back at it fondly.
